Sailing in a small group with a knowledgeable experienced skipper that takes care about planning the cruise, provide the necessary provisioning and give you the local information about points of interest, leaves you only with the task on how to get to the departure marina. It also saves you time in preparation on what to see and where to go as the skipper will plan the itinerary according to your interests. Every sailing area has different features, different things to do and often the nicest spots are not mentioned in a tour guide, because we do not typically follow the stream of mass tourism. We also know when the best time offers the best sailing conditions due to seasonal conditions, can give you advise on selecting cheap airfares and it is in our interest to make sure that we accommodate you in your dream vacation. We are aware of the many charter companies and we also know with whom to work. Creative Sailing is also working with the best charter companies in the business and some very good local companies in some areas.
The schedules are highly versatile in regards of geographic location, actual sailing, different cultures and whether the group wants to snorkel in the most beautiful reefs or visit some historic sites on shore. Typically we plan a schedule once we have a group of 4 to 8 people. Boat size, brand type and availability of boat, will then decide on what charter companies are under consideration. The differences among them are considerably and only the bare boater will learn the hard way.
The skipper has a license to assume full responsibility for crew, boat and material.
He has well over 10 thousand miles under his belt and is experienced in celestial navigation as well with the now newest GPS navigation
